ZHOVTEN SITES / HORROR BRIEF WORKSHOP / POLICIES

Licensing

Rights and reuse rules for Horror Brief Workshop studies, brand assets and code.

1. Source and scope

This page adapts the distinctions and precedence rules of the IRONCREED Repository Licensing Policy, following the established Zhovten Sites policy. It does not imply that private implementation files, commissioned concepts or the artwork of referenced films have been released under an open licence.

2. Types of material

Names, trademarks, film titles, logos and creative material of third parties belong to their respective owners unless a licence explicitly says otherwise. Horror film titles are mentioned only as referential examples; no affiliation or permission to reproduce protected film artwork is implied. Original site code and writing may carry MIT or Creative Commons BY-SA 4.0 only where stated in their relevant published repository or material. This page grants no blanket open licence.

3. Order of precedence

Mandatory third-party conditions prevail, followed by file-specific SPDX or notices, subtree/material-specific licences, explicit project overrides and only then any applicable default policy. A project-specific condition cannot cancel a third-party obligation.

4. Attribution

Where CC BY-SA 4.0 applies, attribute the author and title, link to the original or DOI, indicate changes and retain the required share-alike licence. Where MIT applies, retain the copyright and permission notice. Do not present reused material as endorsed by Zhovten Sites, IRONCREED or Zhovten Games.

5. Client work and limits

Examples of paid client work remain subject to contracts and third-party rights. Seeing a project on this site is not permission to extract or redistribute its assets. Complex questions about jurisdiction, employer ownership and third-party licences require individual legal review.

6. Reference

For the broader engineering licensing policy, consult the IRONCREED Repository Licensing Policy; any current file-specific licence takes priority over this overview.
